Mirror Facts

Types of Magnification

Bent Glass Magnification

The curvature of the mirror lens determines the strength of the magnification. The greater the curvature , the greater the magnification. However ,as the curvature and the diameter of the lens increases, so to does the possibility of distortion. For this reason, larger mirrors generally have less magnification than smaller ones.

Optic Lens Magnification

The Optic Lens provides distortion free magnification with unlimited focal points. While not everyone needs an optic lens, it is perfect for those who cannot see clearly in bent glass magnification., with or without glasses. The visual field is reduced however and the mirror needs to be placed nearer to the eye. These lenses are more expensive because of increased production costs.

Lighting

Fluorescent Lighting is brighter and cooler to touch.

Incandescent  bulbs are warmer to touch and less expensive.

Halo Lighting is superior as it surrounds the face and minimises shadows.

Led Lighting generates no heat, reduces energy costs and lasts for approximately 50,000 hours.
